Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Sixth Assessment Report (AR6)
The IPCC is the United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change and it provides authoritative international assessments that have the agreement of leading climate scientists and consensus from participating governments. Climate-altering approaches such as Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) and Solar Radiation Modification (SRM) are both addressed in previous IPCC reports and in the most recent Sixth Assessment Report (AR6).
The AR6 includes reports from each of the three Working Groups and are planned for publication during 2021-22. This page presents resources to help you learn more about how CDR and SRM are addressed in those reports as they become available.
